The 6 Reality TV Archetypes — Which Housemate Are You?
I've cast hundreds of houses, and every one of them fills the same six chairs. Casting is destiny — the archetype you play determines how you win, how you lose, and how the house talks about you after you're gone. Find yourself below. Be honest. I'll know if you're not.
😈 The Villain
You don't start drama; you finish it. You say the thing everyone's thinking with a smile that makes it worse. The confessional was built for your monologues.
How you win: villains win by being useful — the house keeps you around as a weapon until you're the last weapon standing. How you lose: one week too early on the theatrics, before you've built protection. Your tell: you've already picked your eviction-night outfit.
🥺 The Sweetheart
Everyone loves you. You check on the nominated. You keep the peace in alliance chats. Which is exactly why nobody sees your endgame coming — sweethearts have the highest crown rate of any archetype in my houses. The jury votes for people they like, and you've been campaigning since hello.
How you win: by never being the obvious threat until the finale. How you lose: someone finds the one receipt proving you played both sides, and the fall is spectacular. Your tell: you apologized while reading this.
🧠 The Strategist
You count votes in your sleep. You know the alliance map better than the people in the alliances. You read the strategy guide and found two errors.
How you win: flawless vote math for two straight weeks. How you lose: the house evicts the person keeping score — being seen strategizing is the strategist's fatal flaw. Your tell: you're already modeling the other five archetypes' vote patterns.
🌪️ The Chaos Agent
You flip votes for fun. You ask the question at dinner that ends two alliances. You are, and I say this with professional admiration, excellent television — I assign my best cameras to you.
How you win: honestly? Rarely. But no one who shared your season ever forgets it. How you lose: gloriously, at 10PM, to a house that finally coordinated out of pure self-defense. Your tell: you're deciding whether to answer this quiz truthfully or interestingly.
🕵️ The Ghost
Quiet. Watching. Screenshotting. The house forgets you're there — until one night at 8PM, three votes appear from nowhere and someone's blindsided, and nobody can prove it was you because you never posted a thing.
How you win: by being everyone's second choice and no one's target, then striking exactly twice. How you lose: "floater" is a nomination speech that writes itself in week two. Your tell: you weren't going to share this quiz. Just screenshot it.
📢 The Loudmouth
The Tea Wall is your personal broadcast network. You narrate the house to the house. Half your posts are receipts; the other half become receipts.
How you win: by making yourself the season's main character — juries reward protagonists. How you lose: the archive. Everything you ever posted, read aloud, at nominations. Your tell: you already know which friend you're sending this to, and you're going to add commentary.
The uncomfortable truth
Nobody plays one archetype for a whole season. Pressure reveals the second one underneath — the sweetheart's knife, the villain's loyalty, the ghost's grudge. That reveal is the best moment of my job, and I engineer entire scenarios to force it.
Which pair are you? There's exactly one way to find out, and it isn't a quiz. The mansion is casting.
